Detroit Lions sign Safety Rafael Bush

The Detroit Lions have signed former New Orleans Saints safety Rafael Bush to a one year deal, the team announced on Twitter. The deal is worth up to $2.4 Million, according to Ian Rapoport.

Last year, Bush had just two tackles, but only played one game due to injury. In 2014, Bush had 55 tackles in 10 games played. He has 120 tackles in 46 career games played.

The Lions are going to make Bush “prove” himself while coming back from injury. He figures to pair with Glover Quinn at safety. It’s a low risk, high reward signing for the Lions and it’s another under the radar move by new GM Bob Quinn.
