One of the bigger splashes in free agency took place on Wednesday, when former Atlanta Hawk forward DeMarre Carroll decided to sign with the Toronto Raptors. The supposed signing is worth four years, and $60 million.

Carroll averaged 12.6 ppg last season, proving himself as one of the more valuable players going into free agency. Although he may not be a top-five player in the NBA, and may not be worth a signing of over $100 million, Carroll is one of the more underrated players in the NBA today.

With the Raptors signing this stud, could he be the difference maker for a potential playoff run next season? Signing Carroll was one of the few steps needed to turn the Raptors into a dangerous roster on paper.
