On Monday afternoon, new coming pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, David Price took the mound for the first time against the Minnesota Twins. Coming into the game, Price had a record of 9-4 along with a 2.53 ERA.

Starting off strong, Price has been able to strike out the first batter he faced that day. Often times pitchers won’t be flawless, as Twins’ outfielder Torii Hunter was able to launch a solo shot in the second inning against Price.

Just by the end of the first three innings of Monday’s game, Price was able to strikeout four more batters, proving himself as a great pickup for the Jays.

Price would end with 11 strikeouts as a total, only allowing 3 hits and 1 ER in his debut with the team. The pitcher brought his record up to 10-4 and lowered his average to a 2.45 ERA. What does Price have in store for the future? If it’s anything like today, it’s bound to be great
