Dane Key Commits to Kentucky

On Thursday night, Kentucky fans gained a promising prospect after Dane Key committed to his home state Kentucky. Key chose Kentucky over Michigan, Western Kentucky, Oregon and South Carolina. Dane, listed at 6’2″ and 190 pounds, is a four-star recruit that played at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dane is legacy recruit for the University of Kentucky, as his Father Donte played linebacker for the Wildcats in the mid-90’s. This is a commitment that will surely have fans excited, as they have another hometown prospect to cheer on. Key is a burner and an instant impact freshman who is sure to make noise in the SEC next season.
