After a disappointing season with Freddie Kitchens, the Cleveland Browns finished the year with a 6-10 record. As a result, the team parted ways with Kitchens and elected to go in a new direction. On Friday, Cleveland announced Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as the 18th head coach in franchise history.
Since 2010, the Browns have gone through seven head coaches. With each consecutive hire at the head coaching position, Cleveland has not managed to meet expectations. The only coach with a winning record was interim head coach Greg Williams (5-3), who replaced Hue Jackson in 2018.
With a talented offense that consists of Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr, Nick Chubb, and Jarvis Landry, the Browns are hoping that Stefanski will lead them into a new chapter of efficiency.
