After getting cut by Carolina in March, Cam Newton has been looking to find a new home in the NFL, and his search is now over. On Sunday, the New England Patriots signed Newton to a one-year deal. The deal is incentive laden. Newton is coming off a year where he only played in two games.
During his nine-year stint with Carolina, Newton played in 126 games. He totaled 29,041 yards and 182 touchdowns on 59.6% of his passes. While in Carolina, Newton led the team to four times and to Super Bowl 50 in a 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos.
