Breaking: Saints fear Bryant has torn his Achilles

New Orleans and Dez Bryant were meant to be a match made in heaven; another target for Drew Brees and a possible championship for one of the best receivers this decade. Instead, that potential threat may have gone up in smoke before a snap has been made.
News has come out on Friday that Dez Bryant has possibly torn his achilles tendon at Saints practice. According to Adam Schefter, Bryant may have torn his achilles tendon on what would have been the final play.
It was reported by Tom Pelissero that Byrant was helped off the field today, with an MRI currently underway in order to correctly diagnose the injury.

The initial news coming out of the Saints camp as far as the gameday status for Bryant is that he is questionable with an ankle injury, per Nick Underhill.

Saints officials were unsure if he would have been playing this weekend regardless, with a Week 11 matchup against Philadelphia the likely debut for the former Cowboys. If the news is true, it is likely that Bryant will not be seen at all this season in a New Orleans jersey.
More information will be added as it comes to light.
