With a weekend full of action in MMA, it was capped off with Patricio Freire vs Juan Archuleta for the Featherweight title. This is part of the Grand Prix that is held by Bellator.
Freire recently jumped up to the Lightweight division where he’d win the Lightweight title against Michael Chandler at Bellator 221. At Bellator 221, Archuleta scored a win against Eduardo Dantas to extend his win streak to 18, and his pro MMA career to 23-1.

On Saturday, Freire defeated Archuleta via unanimous decision to retain the Featherweight title. As a result, he will advance further in the Featherweight Grand Prix tournament.
