Antonio Cromartie: Tom Brady Should Have Been Fined, not Suspended
“Honestly, I don’t think he should be suspended,” the Jets cornerback said, “Nobody is safe. No matter who you are, Roger will do what he wants to do. It don’t matter what the rules say, he’s gonna make his own rules as he goes.”
In 2011, Cromartie said he hated Brady, but this proves that Goodell has really taken things over the top. He isn’t the only one to comment, where Darrelle Revis, who played for the Patriots last season stated “I think it’s dragged a little bit too far,” showing that this controversy has been dragged way too far for it’s own good.
Last weekend, Bernard Pollard said that as someone who faces Brady, he doesn’t like him. At the same time, he thinks highly of what Brady brings to the table and doesn’t believe he should be suspended.
There has been much controversy with Roger Goodell stretching the rules, so with that being said, when your highest competitors start saying it’s gone too far- it really has gone too far.
