After multiple attempts at a long-term extension, it looks like Anthony Rendon will be leaving the Washington Nationals. On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Angels and Rendon agreed on 7-year extension worth $245 M.
In 2019, Rendon recorded 34 home runs, 126 RBI, and maintained a batting average of .319. He is a large factor in why the Nationals have entered the postseason.
With Anthony Rendon joining the Angels, he will be a outstanding power hitter to a lineup with guys like Mike Trout, Albert Pujols and Tommy La Stella.
