Andrew Luck; Under or Overrated?
After losing on Monday Night football to the New York Jets, Andrew Luck was practically a turnover machine.
During the teams 20-7 loss at home, Luck tied his career high with three interceptions. For someone who came into the league attempting to fill the shoes of Peyton Manning, this guy is not looking good so far.
Ever since Luck was drafted with the first overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts, turnovers have been his greatest barrier to success. Luck has appeared in the postseason every single season, yet the teams “sloppiness” stops the Colts from any shot at the Super Bowl.
Does this mean the season is over for the Colts after they started 0-2? Absolutely not. The Colts will find some offensive swagger, but it just seems to be hidden at the moment.
With the Colts already having struggles in the red zone, Andrew Luck has become possibly one of the more overrated quarterbacks in the NFL (not the most overrated, just simply overrated).
Luck entered the league as a prodigy, yet he will throw for 300 yards and 2-3 interceptions? That’s insanity. Luck still needs to mature and develop, and will continue to struggle in the AFC post season until quarterbacks like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Big Ben retire.
