Andrew Luck Status Questioned

Suffering from lacerated kidney issues, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is questionable to play for the rest of the 2015 season.

While Luck told the media that he plans on playing again this season, owner of the team Jim Irsay wasn’t as confident.

Irsay stated to NFL.com that he originally believed Luck would be ready for Sunday against the Houston Texans, but others in the organization do not believe he is ready quite yet.

It is crucial that Luck does not get his heart rate up, as it will send blood to the kidney, slowing down the healing process. The team refused to put an exact timetable on Luck’s return, but they obviously will play this one carefully.

Stepping in as always will be veteran Matt Hassleback, who has been nothing short of impressive this season. Although he has been doing well under center, he was spotted leaving Sunday’s game with a sling over his left arm.

The Colts have a good amount of questions to answer at the quarterback position, first by answering who will play this upcoming Sunday.
