With the Detroit Pistons heading towards a rebuild, it has been reported that Andre Drummond is on the move. On Thursday, the team traded Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Brandon Knight, John Henson and a second-round pick. Drummond has one year remaining in his current contract; a player option.
In 33 games this season, Drummond averaged 17.6 points, 15.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. Despite Detroit’s performance as a team, Drummond has proven to be a bright spot.
Although Cleveland is having a poor season, Drummond can come in and prove to be a veteran presence.
