After being swept by the Boston Celtics this past weekend, the Philadelphia 76ers have elected to move on from head coach Brett Brown. The head coach has been apart of the 76ers organization over the last seven seasons, accumulating a coaching record of 221-334.
Under Brown, the 76ers have made the Eastern Conference playoffs in each of the last three seasons. However, the team has been 12-12 during playoff games in that span.
Brown was apart of the organization when they were going through ‘The Process’, but has yet to bring Philadelphia an appearance to the Conference Finals since their turnaround.
The team will take their team during the offseason in hopes of finding an upgrade in their coaching staff, as there are plenty of talented candidates among the field.
