
With three weeks left of the regular season the race is heating up for offensive rookie of the year while on the defensive side it seems like it may already be decided. Here’s your Week 15 honorable Mentions.
Honorable Mentions: Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (4 tackles 1 sack), Jacksonville Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell (4 tackles,1 INT), Houston Texans LB Garrett Wallow (11 tackles, 1 sack)
3. CB Brandin Echols, New York Jets
Echols put together a productive weekend for the New York Jets in a divisional loss to the Miami Dolphins. He logged four tackles to go with an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Echols has now totaled four or more tackles in six of the last seven games for the Jets.
2. LB Nick Bolton, Kansas City Chiefs
Bolton was all over the field on Thursday Night against the Los Angeles Chargers in what was a battle for first place in the AFC West. He had 14 total tackles against and played a big role in the overtime win for the Chiefs. Since being added to the COVID list, Bolton will surely be in a rush to return to the defense.
1. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
St. Brown had a big game on Sunday for the Lions in their surprise win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Lions receiver is coming into his own, as he logged eight catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. With the performance, St. Brown holds the most receptions in franchise history as a rookie (65). He is also the first Lions rookie to total eight or more receptions in three consecutive games.
