Is Lynn Interested in Bills HC Position?

Despite reports that Buffalo Bills interim head coach Anthony Lynn is the leading candidate for the full-time job, there is a feeling around the NFL that Lynn may not even be interested in the job, according to Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News.

Lynn started 2016 out as Buffalo’s running backs coach. He was promoted to offensive coordinator when Greg Roman was fired early in the season. He had one last promotion, as he was tabbed interim head coach when Rex Ryan was fired. Lynn has been reported to be a “virtual lock” for the position since his promotion.

Lynn is interviewing for the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers openings, so he has options outside of Buffalo. However, there may not be a better place for him than Buffalo.

He knows the players, front office, and the fan base more than the other options he has. LA is an enticing job with their roster with just the fact that it’s Los Angeles. San Francisco is engulfed in uncertainty, and they’re pretty much a hot mess. If I’m Anthony Lynn, I take the job most familiar to me and stay in Buffalo.
