UFC Owners in talks to sell promotion

Zuffa LLC, the owners of the UFC, are reportedly in “advanced talks” to sell the promotion, according to ESPN. The buying price is said to be $3.5 and $4 billion with bidders like WME/IMG, The Blackstone Group, China Media Capital, and Dalian Wanda Group.

“As a private company, we don’t discuss speculation or rumors related to our business,” UFC vice president of public relations and athlete marketing David Sholler said.

Zuffa LLC bought UFC back in 2001 for $2 million. It has grown to become the most popular MMA company in the world. If anyone is to buy the company, what an investment they would be making.
