The Tennessee Titans need the draft to help their team. However, with a recent trade with the LA Rams, the Titans are going to be able to easily added depth to their team. But how will they use their draft picks? That’s where I come in.

ROUND ONE

In the  first round, the Titans will now select at the #15th pick. After swapping 1st rounders with the Rams, the Titans will now be picking in the middle of the round. With their 2 big targets, Laremy Tunsil and Jalen Ramsey, gone the Titans are going to have rely on Plan C. What is Plan C though?  Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame is the Plan C for the 1st round. Jack Conklin, OT/G, Michigan State is said to be the Titans target, but experts believe Conklin will be gone before the Titans are picking. However, there is the theory that the Titans will trade up to 6 or 7 in the 1st round and if they do then they will most likely take Jack Conklin.

ROUND TWO

This round should be very interesting and helpful to the Titans. The Titans (via the trade with the LA Rams) have built up three 2nd round picks. But who all will they take? With their first 2nd round pick (#33 overall) the Titans are believed to take Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson. The Titans, behind the O-Line, biggest need is secondary players and with taking OL in Round 1 it shouldn’t shock anyone that the Titans take a secondary player in the early second round.

With their second 2nd round pick, (#43 Overall) the Titans are expected to take Taylor Decker, G, OSU. This to some is shocking, seeing as the Titans went OL in the 1st round. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad move as Decker can play Guard which is a position on the line that needs major help.

With their last 2nd round pick (#45 Overall) the Titans eyeing Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma. With needing a WR to go with Dorial Green-Beckham as many believe that Kendall Wright has come to be a disappointment. Even if you don’t believe that Wright is a disappointment, the Titans need a WR bottom line and Shepard is a great WR that can fill that gap.

ROUND THREE

The Titans have 2 3rd round picks. With the first 3rd round pick it seems that the Titans want to build on their outside pass rush, because behind Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan they have none. So with that being said it seems they will target Alex McCalister, DE/OLB, Florida. This will be a very nice addition to the Titans front 7 on defense.

With their second 3rd round pick the Titans want to add to their secondary. In the 2nd round they want to take a Corner, so in the 3rd round it’s only fitting they take a Safety. Who is that safety? Jalen Mills, S, LSU is who they are looking at. It would help in the process of filling the hole that is the Secondary.

ROUND FOUR

The Titans do not have a 4th round pick as they traded it to the LA Rams.

ROUND FIVE

The Tennessee Titans own only one 5th round pick. With multiple linebackers waiting to be resigned in Free Agency, the Titans need to guarantee someone will be there for depth. That’s why many experts believe the Titans will take Kentrell Brothers, ILB, Missouri. It’ll add depth and being round 5 that’s what these picks are for.
