MLB clears Yu Darvish in involvement in gambling ring.

Earlier this week we learned that Yu Darvish was being investigated for involvement in his brother’s gambling ring. Police say Sho Darvish ran a ring
of 1,850 wagers valued at 10,000 in pro football games in North America and Japan.

According to Stefan Stevenson of the Fort- Worth Star Telegram, the MLB has cleared Darvish of any involvement in his brother’s gambling ring. The MLB has yet to confirm the news.

Darvish said about this situation, “I am not and have not ever been apart of any gambling activities.” He also said, “I am sure they will find out that i had no involvement in this matter what so ever.”

Darvish, 29, is expected to return from Tommy John Surgery that he had early in the 2014 season
