During Sunday nights prime time game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys, wideout stud Dez Bryant seemed to suffer an injury involving his foot, which would later be clarified as a broken bone.

Bryant had successful surgery on his foot on Monday morning. According to ESPN, a screw was placed in Bryant’s foot, which will keep the bone in tact.

With an initial timetable of 4-6 weeks for a return, on Tuesday, ESPN said Bryant could miss anywhere up to eight to twelve weeks, which would be a huge blow to the offense.

Although the Cowboys would go on to win the game 27-26 in the final seconds without Bryant, there is no doubt that passing game may take a slight regression.

Bryant’s 16 TDs in the 2014 regular season had many experts thinking that he may even hit 20 T’s in 20145. At this rate, with his conditions, Bryant would be lucky to hit 8 TDs by the end of the year in my eyes.

As of Wednesday morning, reporter Todd Archer reported that the Cowboys are looking into signing any of the following receivers: Hakeem Nicks, Nick Toon, Austin Pettis, and Clyde Gates.
