Blake Bortles, quarterback Jacksonville Jaguars
Source- Jaguars.com

The Jacksonville Jaguars believe that this could be a big year for Blake Bortles. In an interview on the team website, he said last year he would just copy what Chad Henne was doing. This year, he’s focusing more on taking care of his body and learning the play book.

Analysis: Blake Bortles has a lot to prove this season. It does help coming in as the second year starter. He also gained a weapon in Julius Thomas, but Thomas may have been a product of Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Bortles will be a weak QB2 option this year, but could evolve into something bigger. Watch his preseason play and judge his value from there.

Shane Ray, Linebacker Denver Broncos

Source- The Denver Post

Denver Broncos linebacker Shane Ray has said that his foot is 100% and will be ready for training camp. Ray was passed up in the draft, possibly because of the foot and other issues. The Broncos will also have to step up on defense this year, and that’s why they took Ray where they did in the draft.

Analysis: This is good news for both Broncos fans and owners of their defense. Ray has the potential to be a great pass rusher. If he can stay healthy he’ll be a good option to keep DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller healthy as well. We’ll monitor his health during the preseason and keep you updated on any major changes.

Justin Forsett, running back Baltimore Ravens

Source- Baltimore Sun

Reports are coming that say Forsett will have a similar season to what Matt Forte had last year. It is also being reported that new OC Marc Trestman is running the Ravens offense much like he did with the Bears last year.

Analysis: Forte had over 100 receptions last year in a “Trestman” offense last year. Forsett’s current ADP has him going late in the second round. Despite the scoring format of your league, I believe that he’ll have a great year in 2015. Unless your league is -1 ppr, he’ll be a great guy to have on your roster.
